Renu Gidoomal’s music bridges cultures, faiths and hearts. Touching audiences across 1000 international programmes from London to India, Panama to Singapore, Spain to the USA, Renu’s message of unity, devotion and joy is globally recognised.
As a multi-lingual singer, songwriter, composer, musician and producer, blending devotion and inspiration across many languages including English, Hindi, Sindhi, Spanish, Sanskrit and Punjabi, uniting audiences across over 25 countries. For Renu, music is more than performance, it is a prayer in service to the Divine light inherent in all.
Appearing on prestigious stages including the House of Lords (under the commendable charity SANSKRUTI Centre of Excellence), as well as landmark celebrations such as Diwali in Trafalgar Square, London, and the annual World Yoga Festival (Arsha Kula Foundation), Renu has also been invited to perform for revered spiritual leaders and their organisations. These include Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani and Didi Krishna Krishna Kumari (Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune), Dadi Janki (Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, UK) and Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji (Srimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharmapur) among many more spiritual luminaries.

A most memorable Christmas with my very own Santa Claus, Mumbai, 2018. We sang Christmas Carols, ate heartily, and even told jokes! I offered my guitar to Dada to bless but to my surprise and delight, he held it and strummed it with a beaming smile!

Atmasphere - The Divine Frequency
Did you know that every acoustic frequency is connected to a colour?
The more I immersed myself in spiritual chants and songs, the more I felt my energy rise—as though I was being lifted beyond the ordinary. With my eyes closed and my voice carried by prayerful intention, I would lose myself completely in the sound. When the final note faded, I would slowly open my eyes to a profound silence—a space transformed into something luminous and sacred. Often, I could not see the audience clearly, for all were suffused in a golden light.
In Sanskrit, the word for soul is atma. In those moments, I experienced a shift from an earthly atmosphere into a divine, soul-aligned Atmasphere. And so, I named my company and my band Atmasphere—a living pledge to dedicate every worldly and spiritual effort to the highest ideal I strive to embody: Love All – Serve All.
Teaching & Mentoring
Alongside performing, Renu shares her knowledge by teaching Indian vocal, voice culture and acoustic guitar to beginners, and nurturing children through music education. She has been a highly respected teacher at the Sai School of Harrow, London, guiding children in values-based songs in multiple languages.
Service through Music
Renu set up the Music for Education project in Manila, bringing weekly music and meals to 400 slum children, and also providing access to full-time private education for 60 children - To know how it all started go to our GIVING FORWARD page! She continues to serve across various organisations including being an active participant in the Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation UK, the Sadhu Vaswani Centre, UK and the Holy Mission of Guru Nanak, UK.
Positive Vibes
During the Global Pandemic Renu launched Positive Vibes in March 2022 to connect local and global communities who felt socially isolated. This was a weekly online inspirational program aired on Zoom, Facebook and Instagram. Attracting a worldwide audience through 120 curated episodes, the programmes showcased a tapestry of music featuring Renu’s unique and wide repertoire of World Music.
